Gastronomy

Did you know that Italy is also metropolis of the "Slow food" movement? Therefore, when talking about Trieste it does not seem odd mentioning the food. In entire Italy, therefore in our destination you will be able to eat slowly, quality food and under reasonable prices. Drinks and food are made of traditional, fresh, local and often organic food.

Besides the culinary specialities taste some exclusive wines for which our region is very well known.

In the region there is a production of white wines (Pinot, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Picolit) and red wines (Cabernet, Merlot, Borgogna). Among typical wines of this area are "Terrano" and "Refosco" (red wines) as well as Malvasia (white wine). The most famous wine sellers are in the area of Collio Goriziano (Gorica Hills) and Colli Orientali (ie. East Hills). We also produce original brandy made of refined grapes.
